A Mutual Exchange is an exchange of property and tenancy between two or more tenants of a Local Authority or Registered Social Landlord (Housing Association). You can exchange your property if no legal action has been taken against you regarding your tenancy and you would not significantly under-occupy or overcrowd the home you wish to move to.
