Repairs

The HomeZone Living Repairs Team provides a 24-hour repair service to all HomeZone Living’s rented properties.

One for all Repairs Policy
We ensure that our homes are well maintained through our planned maintenance programme. The programme provides for improvements and replacement of kitchens, bathrooms, heating systems, etc. Our responsive repairs service is how we manage day-to-day and emergency repairs.
We aim to deliver the best possible service to our customers and currently have several different repairs policies and procedures in place across the Group.
We are working on bringing these together into one, so that we can provide you with an improved repairs and planned maintenance service in the future. We will update you soon – so keep an eye out for progress!

Our Responsibilities
We are responsible for keeping the structure and exterior of your home in good repair and for maintaining heating, sanitation and service installations. Our responsibilities cover fair wear and tear but not damage caused by tenants, other residents or their visitors.

To report a repair, simply call - Freephone number 0800 317101. We will be able to make a convenient appointment when our repair operative will be able to visit you.

Alternatively you can report a non emergency repair by text on 07739 446159. (If your text is received during office hours we will contact you on the same working day to make an appointment. If the text is received outside office hours we will contact you on the next working day).

Repair Timescales

Emergency Make safe within 24 Hours When there is a real danger to life or limb, major damage to the property, flooding or the home is insecure.
Urgent Completed within 7 days Repairs that need to be carried out to overcome substantial inconvenience to the resident, to prevent immediate damage to the property, or where there is a potential health or security risk.
Routine Completed within 28 days When the repair does not cause immediate inconvenience or pose any danger to occupants or members of the public.

HomeZone Living's online repair reporting form

Routine repairs can also be reported using the online repair reporting form.  Simply complete all the fields below, click on the 'Submit' button and your repair request will be forwarded to a member of our Customer Services Team. They will process your report on the next working day, and arrange an appointment.
