Tenants Incentive Scheme

Are you over 60 and find your home too big to manage? Are you finding the stairs difficult? Is it difficult to keep your garden as you would like it?

Why not consider moving to somewhere more manageable - a bungalow or sheltered apartment. Life could be simpler - no stairs to manage, a smaller garden or no garden, the reassurance provided by the 24-hour community alarm service and the support of an Independent Living Officer.

If you are an elderly or disabled HomeZone Living tenant, living alone in a 2 or 3-bedroom house we may be able help you make that move.

We can offer practical help:

. Advice in applying for and selecting a suitable new home

. Help with the actual move - packing and removals

. Purchase of new carpets

. Financial and practical help in decorating your new home

. And help disposing of unwanted items.

If you would like more information on how you can make your life easier, contact Pauline Clayton, Housing Options Officer, on 01543 420918.
